Kora started off her show career by catching a number of judges' eyes winning Best Puppy in Show plus numerous 1sts at Championship shows and Open shows. Sadly Covid hit us all and the shows stopped just as Kora was getting started.
Kora then sustained a horrifying injury that required immediate surgical repair and like many pets, was at the mercy of a Vet that dealt with her in such an inhumane way as to traumatise her and make her utterly fearful of anyone coming close to her. With patience, care and the help from a great many fellow exhibitors and judges we managed to bring her around.
Her quality and type is something we are very proud of and typical of what you would expect from Barleyarch. In her interrupted show career she has amassed a huge amount of Championship show wins, together with 4 CCs, 3 with Best of Breed plus two further Reserve CCs and Reserve Best in Show at the inaugural show held by The GSP Club of Scotland in an unprecented entry, beaten only by her kennelmate Sh Ch Barleyarch Pringle for BIS.
Kora is a "full on" character, with immense drive and strong working instincts just like her dam Sh Ch Barleyarch Peanut.

Pringle started his show career by winning numerous Best Puppy in Shows at Open level, also achieving Best Puppy in Group at Birmingham Championship Show then going on to win Reserve Best Puppy in Show! He then gained his Junior Warrant at great speed under the new rules. Finishing his first show season by winning Top Puppy in Breed (Joint) 2018.
His second year, 2019 was also a great year for Pringle where he was awarded CC at Manchester Ch, CC at Paignton Ch and his 3rd CC & title at Bournemouth Ch followed by Gundog Group 2 at just over 18 months, and now has 6 RCC's, followed by a further 3 CCs, resulting in him being awarded Top Male GSP 2019.
Then Covid struck and everything stopped, however Pringle came out to play at the double show Central & Southern GSP Society 2021 where he was awarded Best in Show at one show and Reserve Best in Show at the other! Following this great day he made another appearance at National Gundog taking his 7th CC in excellent company.
Like both his parents, he has the gentlest of temperaments and is showing great promise in the field too where his quiet diligent nature comes into its own.

Time is starting to grow up though she is still full of fun, very much living up to her name! She has developed into one of the dogs we are most proud of carrying such true Barleyarch type. She possesses both her parents class and power on the move and has intensity in all she does including the very best kisses! Time adores hunting and retrieving and we plan, as we do with all our dogs to introduce her to the shooting field when the time is right, but in the meantime she is starting to win a few hearts having won her 1st Reserve CC, closely followed by Reserve Best in Show at the Central and Southern GSP Club also gaining the last point for her Junior Warrant. She has now amassed 7 CCs Gundog Group 3 at Champ Shows and 6 RCCs from limited showing.

Dam: Sh Ch Barleyarch Persia Peanut is a real character, very intelligent but quite sensitive with it. Everything in her life has to be done quickly whether that is in the showring, hunting or just out with the gang. She would have made a brilliant agility dog as she is so responsive to command and just desperate to learn new tricks. Her gundog training has been a pleasure as she is keen to please, loves water and very birdy. Despite her being shown in direct competition to her kennel mate Piper, she has won: Best in Show GSP Club Championship Show 2015, BIS Central & Southern GSP Soc Open Show 2014, 3 CC's all with BOB, several RCC's , Junior Warrant, Gundog Group 4 at S Wales KA 2014.

Dam: Sh Ch Barleyarch Pixie JW Piper is one of the many Barleyarch dogs to have an obsession with cushions, she has to greet you with one firmly stuffed in her mouth, whilst wagging her tail so hard that her back legs simply cannot keep a grip of the ground! Full of fun, and kind hearted she loves life! Her gundog training has been very rewarding, she is such a stylish pointer and her pace is phenomenal. Her show career has been nothing less than phenomenal , winning joint Top Puppy in Breed 2013, Top GSP Bitch 2014, Best in Show GSP Association Championship Show 2015, RBIS GSP Club Championship Show 2014, Gundog Group 2, 11 CC's and many RCC's.

Dam: Sh Ch Barleyarch Pickpocket JW Dotty has been a pleasure to own, always happy to wait her turn, never pushy, but when given the nod she explodes into action! Visitors are warned when they enter that she is likely to try and grab their hand such is her delight to greet them and when they aren't looking will raid their pockets and handbags for goodies! She has proved to be a quiet but efficient working girl being an excellent game finder. Her show career has been a glittering one, winning a Gundog Group, along with numerous CCs and RCC's. Dotty is now showing the quality of her genes producing some lovely babies for us, including Top Puppy in Breed 2015, several Junior Warrant winners, plus numerous RCC winners and a Field Trial award winner.
